The Business of Genius and Personal Recovery
I’m Steve Bonenberger.
I’m an author, a poet, a novelist, a counselor, a human development expert, a speaker, a teacher and something of a futurist.
My friend Jeff Grant asked me to pen a short note for the 250th meeting of the ‘White Collar Support Group’.
I found this group, or, it found me sometime in early December 2016.
I am its most ardent supporter and frequent attendee.
Jeff Grant is a master of his universe and a Primary Encounter Expert.
Here are my simple thoughts RE: recovery and the pursuit of genius.
Thanks, Jeff, for welcoming me into your universe. You rock my friend.
Some Pieces WCSG has Woven or Wakened into My Soul:
Establish and cherish your banking relationships
Never accept or seek ‘investment’ funds or, dawdle over monies ever again
Refrain from exaggeration
Simplify your story…” I made some awful mistakes…”
Understand and grasp that others may see your mishaps differently
Work for nickels and dimes
Find and cherish simple living quarters
Work on redefining you
Find your genius
See your travails not as punishment but rather, as gift
Imagine yourself different — and most certainly improved
Every equation going forward has to end in, = ‘human service’
Learn to write and start a journal today
Anger and bitterness and regret and continued irresponsibilities are soul coagulants
Consider the lilies how they toil nor spin
Respect the fact that you have sullied relationships
Trust for some may never return
Brick-by-brick…learn this phrase and of-repeat and remind yourself of its necessity
Some pain is valuable
Friends and support systems appear in the unlikeliest manner
Miraculous recoveries are few and far between
Personal reinvention always rises from the ashes and rubble of personal tumult
Genius is a real thing and your genius exists
God now beckons and summons you
Travel Far.
